I am interested in promoting performing and visual arts by supporting rural communities within India to prosper. I am proud to hold hands who are willing to take this art form and promote our arts and culture to prosper.
I am joining hands with Sri Ranga Academy of Fine Arts, to support their academy.
Sri Ranga Academy of Fine Arts, was founded by Mr. Rajadurai Krishnamoorthy in 2008 to promote Indian art in the rural areas. Kicking off with just 5 students, and has now grown to 500+ students. The school began with the goal of promoting vocal music, dance & visual arts in rural areas. They conduct classes in various dance forms (Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi), numerous instruments (keyboard, violin, Mrudangam), and also teach vocal music. They have successfully completed numerous graduations/ Arangetrams in dance, and instruments. They provide opportunities to students to perform on various stages across Tamilnadu, India. They also maintain a well equipped library for performing arts and visual arts.
Locally, joining hands with Nammaperiyava kovil, Sri Mahaperiya Manimandapam, @ Flemington, NJ to continue ancient Hindu traditions and promote the value of those in our daily life and passing it to the generations to come. Sri Mahaperiya lived his life in austerity, travelled like Sri Adi Shankara Bhagadpadal. He imparted teachings of Sanatana Dharma. He is revered as a guiding light for all of us. He had loka-kshemam (welfare of the world), Veda rakshanam (protecting and studying vedas) and Gho Rakshanam (protecting cows) as his main focus.
Please join with me to support Sri Ranga Academy of Fine Arts, Thuraiyur, India & Nammaperiyava kovil, Sri Mahaperiyava Manimandapam, NJ.
